Clinical Leadership Academy of Excellence

Strong clinical leadership has never been more important. Skilled nursing leaders are balancing increasing regulatory expectations, evolving quality initiatives, workforce challenges, and the day-to-day demands of resident care. Success requires more than clinical expertise. It requires leaders who can translate that expertise into consistent operational performance.

To help meet that need, Engage Consulting is proud to introduce the Clinical Leadership Academy of Excellence, a new four-part nursing leadership continuing education series designed specifically for skilled nursing professionals.

Built on a Foundation of Educational Excellence

The Clinical Leadership Academy of Excellence was created following the success of our MDS Academy of Excellence.

The positive response to that program demonstrated the value of practical, expert-led education that professionals can immediately apply within their organizations. As the responsibilities of clinical leaders continue to expand, we recognized the need for a dedicated educational series focused on leadership, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence.

The result is a program designed to help today's clinical leaders navigate today's challenges with confidence.

Turning Clinical Expertise into Operational Excellence

Each session focuses on practical strategies that participants can implement immediately.

Throughout the series, attendees will learn how to:

  • Strengthen quality outcomes

  • Reduce clinical and regulatory risk

  • Build consistent care practices

  • Improve organizational performance through proactive leadership

  • Apply current regulatory expectations in day-to-day operations

Rather than focusing solely on regulations, the Clinical Leadership Academy emphasizes how strong leadership influences quality, compliance, and resident outcomes across the organization.

Who Should Attend?

The series is designed for professionals across the interdisciplinary team, including:

  • Administrators

  • Directors of Nursing

  • MDS Nurses

  • Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members

  • Other clinical leaders working in skilled nursing

Participants will also have the opportunity to earn 4 Nursing Contact Hours and 4 NAB-approved continuing education credits.
